pie 101 - apple

So... the apples I got from Niki's grandmother were getting too ripe.
For the first time, I decided to make an apple pie completely from scratch.
Making the pie dough seemed easy, but I kinda failed.
After this mistake, maybe I can make a better, softer crust.
It seemed that I totally mixed everything too much.

I could have cut the apples bigger too. They turned out more like apple jam.
I must say it was about 6 points out of 10.

Next day, the crust was softer and better.

Nikiのおばあちゃんからもらった林檎が悪くなる直前だったので
アップルパイを作ってみた。
パイ生地から作るのは初めてだったので、微妙に四苦八苦。
Y氏を見習いもっとお菓子作りやパン作りの腕を磨きたいものだ。

生地は混ぜすぎたせいか・・・　冷蔵庫で寝かせなかったせいか
オーブンで焼いた後は結構硬かった。
林檎ももっと大きめにきればここまで型崩れせずできたかな？！

まぁ、初めてのパイ作りとしては(食べれたので）そこそこ成功という事にしておこう。笑
